A catch-all mailbox receives emails sent to non-existent email addresses under the same domain. For instance, a message sent to the mistyped suport@domain.com will go to support@domain.com in case the catch-all feature has been activated for the latter. In this way, you can get emails from pals or customers who may have sent a message to your email address with a spelling mistake or to an old one, which they may still have, but you have already disabled. Just one single mailbox per domain name can be a catch-all one and email forwarding cannot be set up for such a mailbox. This is due to the fact that at a certain moment you may begin receiving spam messages in the catch-all mailbox and the forwarding restriction means that the spam will not be re-sent to a third-party mailbox.

Catch-all Emails in Shared Hosting

You will be able to set up a catch-all e-mailbox without any difficulty if you have a shared hosting plan with our company. The Email Manager in our custom-developed Hepsia Control Panel is fully featured, yet amazingly easy to use, and it will allow you to enable different features, including the catch-all one, with only a few clicks. All the mailboxes that you’ve set up will be enumerated in alphabetical order in this section and next to each of them you will see a small "Catch-all" icon. Clicking on it once will enable the feature, clicking on it twice will disable it. Since you can have just one such catch-all mailbox per domain, our system will warn you if you already have a different mailbox with this feature activated or if you have active email forwarding.

Catch-all Emails in Semi-dedicated Hosting

The catch-all functionality can be activated with ease in case you’ve got a semi-dedicated server account with our company. All the email addresses that you have created with the domain names hosted in your semi-dedicated account will be enumerated in the Email Manager section of your Hepsia hosting Control Panel and you will see a small logo handily located directly next to each one of them. With just a mouse click, you can enable or disable the catch-all option for any mailbox of your preference as long as there isn't another mailbox under the same domain with the option already activated and there isn't activated email forwarding. Alternatively, you can right-click on a mailbox and enable the feature through the contextual menu that will come into sight. If any of the preconditions for configuring a catch-all mailbox is not met, our system will inform you, but will not deactivate or replace anything automatically.
